Peri I love you

So I was listening to "Eye of the Scorpion" and Peri gets kidnapped, separated from the Doctor and held hostage by some bad guys who are trying to get out of a city after a failed coup. Then the following exchange happened:

BAD GUY: Stop struggling, girl

The Doctor has had some really wonderful companions. They've out-princess Leia'd Princess Leia and long before Lucas. Thank goodness we're beyond Dale Arden.

I don't know Peri well, if at all. Me, I'll always have a soft spot for Leela... she took my heart when the Doctor warned her not to kill anyone this time, and they bartered over merely wounding.

I love that there's so many great Companions to choose from! Peri's one of the least popular companions but I like her a lot.

Leela's pretty awesome. She's one of the stars of the Gallifrey series I'm listening to at the moment and she is super badass in that!
