Can you tell I'm stressed at work?

Work stress = more photoshopping! I've had these two manips half finished for ages, so I decided to finally finish them up in a futile attempt to not be so tense. There's one Rose x Nine and one Rose x Ten.

The Ten/Rose one is SO adorable. And the Nine/Rose is just GUH~! Can I also make an icon of the Nine/Rose one? Will credit as usual, of course. Now excuse me while I go back to staring at the pretties...

Thank you, I'm glad you like them! :) And yes, totally go ahead and make an Nine/Rose icon. I tried cropping it and it just looked weird to me- icon making is not my forte at all, and I'm impressed by those that can do it well!

Late reply is late, but these are awesome, thank you so much! I am going to add them to my icon page, and credit you, if you don't mind...

I think they look great. The first one isn't boring at all! Cute? Wasn't that what you were going for ? It looks a bit like a stylized poster for a Broadway show. (50's or 60's revival?) The texture, choice of colours, and the style you gave them work well together.

I also like the colour, tone, shadow choices you made for Nine and Rose. Smouldering, as you said. You can do the hottest things with Nine in sepia and black & white.

Your manips are always unique in some way... setting, tonality, etc. These are no exception.

Thank you so much! Your comments always leave me speechless. I'm glad you think the first one looks like a Broadway show- I would totally want a 50's rom-com musical starring the two of them! ;)

I'm glad you like how Nine/Rose turned out. I think it changed a bunch since you last saw it, so I'm glad you liked how the final iteration looks. I think CE really lends himself to being hot in B&W.

This has nothing to do with your post, but I think you may still be around. Elementary just ended. A wonderful piece of writing. I remember there is: 1. you know who did it, and watch as the hero figures it out; 2. you go along with him, learning as he learns. I think there's a 3rd way of writing, but it's been so many years and I'm tired. Anyway, I thought this was a wonderful and satisfying example of the second type of detective story.

The first is a marvelous picture! Something about it makes me think it should be a musical. (And I would love to see that) You did a great job with Rose's head and Nine's back and shoulders- actually from what I remember, you basically redesigned his back and used the heavy shadow as well to make him look leaner.

Circe, you are a brilliant artist. You pay attention to details- which is one thing that makes your manips always so good and very often unique and striking. Sometimes you may need to hear someone tell you to stand back, get your gorgeous pic out of the microscope, and let us drool. (For example, the 10/Rose/10Two b/w manip you made for the Gutter that you thought wasn't very good and we all went nuts over)
