[Lloyd's breathing hard when he turns the Dreamberry back on, but he still manages to give Emil a look like he can't believe the other boy could be questioning him about this.]

It's not a mistake, Emil. There are angels, they've got Exspheres, and Kratos is leading them. They're not just people from a world like ours. They're definitely from our world.

[His expression turns harried for a moment as he abruptly twists and ducks. There's another flash of steel, a sword slicing through the air. Then Lloyd holds his Dreamberry up, showing Emil the empty sky.]

Does that look like it's not real?

[Zack's more than likely about to pass out from something or other and he's seeing things from the corner of his eyes, but Lloyd is a friend, and Zack will always help him out. No wonder he's on the move already.]

Lloyd, where are you?

[Hallucinating or not, Lloyd is still lucid and otherwise perfectly aware. He sees the exhaustion and tension in Zack's face and frame, and even though his own situation is desperate, a threat literally above his head, concern tightens his grip as he looks from the angels to Zack.]

Don't worry about me. I'll be fine. Zack, you don't look good. Are you all right?

[The concern is touching, really, but despite looking terrible, Zack shakes his head. He can keep going. He's fine, really...not.]

Yeah, I'm fine. You've got bigger things to worry about than me right now, man.

[Still moving. He's gonna track Lloyd down if it's the last thing he does...before passing out, anyway.]

[Snow and trees in the background, Zack, and a few quaint little cottages. Possibly somewhere in Espoir?

Not that Lloyd's going to confirm.]

It's only two angels right now, Zack. I managed to shake the others off.

[At least, he hopes that's the case. The idea that Kratos might have deliberately split the others off to circle around for an ambush eats at his mind. He shakes his head, trying to push the worry away.]

I'll be fine. Tell you what. You find someplace warm, and I'll meet you there.

[After he's lost his pursuers.]

[Hang on a second, Sheena. Lloyd's busy trying to take the head off an attacking angel at the moment.

...or maybe it'll look like he's slicing off part of a snow-laden branch. It's very nearly the same thing.

When he has a second to catch his breath, though, he darts Sheena a look.]

I'm fine. They haven't landed any hits yet, and I've managed to shake some of them off. I don't know where Kratos is, though.

[While you're over there hallucinating about Cruxis...she's seeing Dead People out of her peripherals. Her hands grip the Dreamberry tighter, and that isn't helping her look of panic.]

I...I don't know either. Lloyd, have you seen villagers? You know...people that shouldn't be here?

[She's not happy with this. not happy at all.]

[Lloyd frowns, holding his swords defensively and keeping a wary eye on the air in case it attacks again.]

What do you mean, Sheena?

Lloyd! [ Her voice is panicked. ] Lloyd, what do you mean?

[Hang on a second, Colette. He's busy doing battle with nothing but the air. Soon as he has a chance, though, he answers back.]

Kratos is back in Somarium, Colette, but he's taken over Cruxis and he brought other angels with him. He says he's going to take you back and sacrifice you to Martel!

[ What is he... cue the confused looked.

Air? ] Wh- what? Kratos is back? [ Hold on, when did this happen? ]

Yeah.

[The hurt and betrayal is thick in his voice. He had thought Kratos was on their side, or at least not an enemy. He'd never thought it would come to this.]

Whatever you do, Colette, don't let him take you back.
