root canal. cause... ive had that before and i know what to expect. pain. mainly. although a minor surgery.. if it doesn't hurt and has no side effects. then maybe that.
Have you ever had a surgery? Or anything that required you to be put under general anaesthesia? I've had three root canals and two surgeries, and by far, root canals are better. 1) When they wake you up, you (in most cases) throw up all over yourself, unless they're quick enough to get some... bucket. 2) Waking up from g.a. is AWFUL. First, you are SO sleepy... it's hard to describe, but it's nothing like 'feeling sleepy when you get up at 5am after 4hrs of sleep'. It's more like 'the Other Side is pulling very, very hard.' You just CAN'T wake up, but of course the doctors keep slapping you and telling to stay conscious. And then comes the nausea. Bleh. I slept for 23 hours after one surgery.

Didn't they 'poison' your tooth prior? 'Cause if they hdidn't, then yeah, emptying the pulp chamber must've hurt like hell. If the nerves are dead, though, root canal is no biggie. Sure, working the actual canals (where the nerves will still be alive) is gonna hurt a bit, but none of the root canals I had hurt more than regular treatment.
Both surgeries were on my right ear. (I actually had three, but the third one was when I was 1,5, so I don't remember any of it, except for the hospital entrance hall)
Hm. I dunno, maybe it's because I've had some seriously painful shit done, but the root canals for me seemed not that bad... I mean, in comparison.
Did she numb your tooth, at least? And, how long did you have it 'poisoned'? (I'm sorry, I'm just always chatty about shit like this)
