I had my first non-academic related (semi) breakdown on Thursday. I really thought I was going to be fine and not be homesick if I just kept myself busy, but it wasn’t the case. Second: REally scary, none of my roomies knew who David Bowie was. I think I screamed.
Anyway, I hope that you are feeling better. I know a bunch of people are really homesick, right at that place where you have a ton of work to do but you want time to speed up so you can go home for thanksgiving or christmas. If you want to cll me I must say I do consider you one of my 'besties'. Maybe I should be calling you more often...I will do that.
We dont live in SC anymore, isnt that scary! things are so different down here (aka republican) ad its taken some getting used to. Besides the fact that its not SC, how do you like Oregon?
