Hi, Subaru-san! It has been a while, hasn't it? :)

I've been all right--just very busy with work and some RL stuff. It seems like all the birthdays, weddings, etc, all pile up at the end of the year, along with the holidays.

I haven't had much chance to catch up with the soukyuu comm--truth be told, I watched the HAE movie and--while I enjoyed the movie, I'm just kind of sick and tired of Kiyasu Kouhei and his sexual insecurities. >.< Sorry. I know it's a stupid thing to complain about, but especially compared to other anime series where the cast and staff wholeheartedly love, believe in and work passionately for their series, hearing this guy's wet blanket answers in interviews just really makes me mad. And also, makes me want to not care about Fafner. Which is a shame, because there were so many beautiful things in this series. But yeah, I guess I just want to get out of it for a bit so I can try to forget about him and just appreciate the series in a vacuum. >.Anyway, I hope you've been well. I haven't really read or heard that many interviews (with translations) of his, so I can't comment on what he's like. Can you give me an example of what you mean? From what I've seen of the video on the Fafner Heaven and Earth main page, for instance, he didn't seem like that to me. As for the movie itself, I was more annoyed with some character and visual inconsistencies, or at least what struck me as such. Such as Rina is suddenly a bitch, and has magical boobs that are barely visible outside of her Fafner jumpsuit but suddenly turn into giant jugs when she's piloting? Seriously, what was up with that? Kazuki and Misao were, as expected, the most versatile and enjoyable characters of the whole movie

Shurato sounds interesting--wish I could check that out, but I've had so many virus-related problems lately that I'm afraid to download anything off the internet that isn't totally legit. =__
