He wasn't too far behind her, running up in an attempt to be sneaking and almost throwing himself at her from behind, face pressing against her hair as arms wrapped around her waist.

"Found ya!"

She nearly pitched forward, not from surprise, but the force he came at her with. It was enough to make her step forward to brace with yelping laughter.

Kushina turned her head to look down over her shoulder at him.

"Looks like you did! Came to help your mom fish?"

He wouldn't have let her fall-- still, the moment he knows she's straight up, and looking back at him he leans away, flashing a huge grin and letting her go, not without the gentle brush of fingers through some of her hair. The last time she'd been here, it had been for so few days that he felt the need to treasure every day-- Remember the way she grinned, the way she spoke, the way she felt.

"Right!" He shifts to stand beside her, hands on his hips. "So, what're we doin' first?"

With hair that long it was bound to be sensitive, so when she wasn't focusing on ignoring it she was very aware of most touches to it. She held up the piece of metal with one hand and tousled his hair with her other.

"First we have to make the rods. I can use my hair for the line, but we'll need to make some hooks."

[Kushina has grabbed the PCD by now already to talk to Sokka, so she holds up her prize for him to see. Have a close up of a sturdy looking hook, Aang. Well, actually it's a piece of metal wire, rather than a hook actually made specifically for fishing, but she can work with it!]

I'll use this to make a hook for a make-shift fishing pole!

Thank you, Iroh! Naruto gave it to me. Apparently it's from my first visit here. [She grins and adjusts the black and orange hat just a little, wearing it quite proudly.]
