[Guy is sitting at a café, watching the people around him carefully - a bit warily, even - as though he's trying to make something out. Can't hear a damn thing, this one. He's talking pretty softly, even if he doesn't realize if it's soft or not]

[blink blink, and she tilts her head curiously at him. after a moment she points to one of her ears and shakes her head, in effect asking him if he's deaf too.]

[looks at her for a moment before nodding slightly]

.. [sigh. she drops off the level for a moment, then returns with a spiral notepad and a pen. after a second's hesitation she goes to take a seat beside him, and starts to write:

'You too, huh.. it's so strange. All this quiet.. it's almost creepy.']

[he seems a bit uncomfortable with the proximity for a moment, but shakes it off and takes the notebook to write,

"There's something almost familiar about it, though. Not quite like this, but... ah. Well, either way, this happening to me, I don't mind so much, but it's kind of unfair that this sort of thing would have to happen to a pretty girl."]
