C has taken to calling the baby Creature. I think it's cute, although I might prefer lil' Monster. Either way, it's done out of love and will go on for a while, as we are waiting to find out the gender until Creature is born. I think he didn't like calling the baby 'it

Congrats on your pregnancy, that's awesome :)

I do feel I should point out that you may be waiting a long time until your child figures out and confirms their gender identity. In the meantime, look forward to the news of finding out their sex. Also, "they, them, their" is a perfectly acceptable singular pronoun in the English language... I do agree that "it" feels wrong. I really like "The Creature" :D
