ok what is the point of a ring of life ? i thought it transported you to saftey if your hitpointsgot to 10%. noooo i died so now i lost my mith shield and steel scimitar bronze helm, climbing boots. arrrrrg lol man darn A souls bane quest all the monster were tougher then me but this time i read and saw that so stocked up on a full inv of lobsters ( Read more... )

It does teleport you when you have 10% health. But if you have say 11% of your hit points and something hits you for 11% of your normal hit points you still die. Its not a fool proof way to make sure you live.

The trick is not to be fighting something that can hit you for more than 10% of your hitpoints... oh and not to get poisoned by something either. Otherwise you tele away and die :p

And I didn't have anything much better than lobsters to give ya as I can't cook blasted sharks yet >.> Just watch the "Monsters" spot on the quest guides, a good rule of thumb is: If the monster has a higher combat level than you do (in these beginning quests), put the quest on hold until you can train up :D
