Scars

I've often caught wisps of conversations, usually between a pair or more of women, bemoaning a particular scar or blemish resulting from some injury. The scars I have from biopsies were created in manners that render them as concealable or aesthetically pleasing (if such a thing is possible) as possible. The doctors performing the surgeries

I like my scars.

i love my scars. I used to cut and when i take hot showers my scars show up really brightly. My boyfriend is grossed out by them and most people dont understand it. I honestly wish you could see them more but I'm terribly pale.

I look at them and its true, its a story. they are a beautiful reminder of where I've been and some places I never want to go again. Its a reminder to keep true to myself, if anything.

And those scars from life lessons learned are some of the most important. I seem to have comparatively few of those - maybe I need to start doing some dangerous stuff while I still have time. :)
