So when will we be seeing a steampunked sheath for the O2 tank?

Tangent: I just got a temporary crown. My tooth had been in bad shape for a long time, but now I have a big chunk of porcelain there. Even though the porcelain more closely resembles the proper tooth shape than my rotted tooth did, I can't stop running my tongue over it, exploring. The need to tongue the tooth has reduced in the days since I got it. When I get the permanent crown in April, I'm sure I'll once again fiddle with it because it's new, and eventually that will drop off until I treat that as just another tooth.

I think that's what the staring is about. It's not negative or judgmental, just exploring something that's different. I imagine you got a similar amount of staring when you shaved your head.

All this, of course, is just my way of admitting and justifying my own staring. It just takes a while for me to stop paying attention to new aspects of familiar things. But it's not in a bad way.
