shit like this really pisses me off. This guy, who i think some of you might actually know is a self-proclaimed anarchist who has fought in two wars and is a rabbi. That's all well and good, and I have no complaint with what someone that i have no involvement with chooses to do with their life. That's not the issue at hand

this is coming from someone who works six days a week: i am completely and totally fine with an individual taking every red cent they can get from the US government. if tax dollars stopped doing things like funding corporate welfare and global us imperialism, i'd feel differently about it.

why should i work to support someone who doesn't because they don't want to, not because they' "can't"?

my point was more along the lines of "if money that i've earned is being siphoned from me by coercion to pay for many things that i am in extreme disagreement with, i don't really mind someone claiming a little bit of that for themselves, because i'm a lot less offended by that."
