r.i.p. 2006 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY 2007.
1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Moved in with a significant other, drew blood from someone (phlebotomy school), moved out of state, told someone off and meant it.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
my new year's resolutions never last. and then, even if i resolve not to make any, it's still a resolution, so eh, whatever happens happens i guess.
I mean really, I guess I'd just like to be financially stable, stay with my main squeeze, and of course, get in shape.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I'm aware of.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Great aunt gert passed away in November. We were close but not really.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just Fitchburg.
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Self control. Better Karma (I'm getting there) Determination and sticktoitiveness.
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I don't even know. My birthday was a lot of fun, in quincy. Maybe moving in with jason.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting and finishing a phlebotomy program. Paying off a bunch of debts (never mind that i acquired more)
9. What was your biggest failure?
a lot of things, sadly. Not going back to fitchburg. Not paying people back (still). Letting myself feel crappy because of another person or saying things I didn't mean. Money issues all the way.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Heh. Gastritis. Burst cyst on ovary. Possible thyroid condition. Ear infection and sinus infection and FUCKING VERTIGO!!!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
anything with a pug dog on it, probably. and the dolemite dvd for jason. i think i bought that for him?
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Jason/Puffin most definitely.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
let's not talk about it.
14. Where did most of your money go?
bills (or to late fees for the lack of paying bills), medicine, stuff i didn't need, and pizza.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
the whale watch in july. jason and stasia's surprise party. when we went away to provincetown. I forgot we even went to florida. Moving to Maine. Getting my settlement check.

a. happier or sadder? happier about different things.
b. thinner or fatter? same? about 10lbs thinner maybe.

paying bills/jason. saving money. eating more cupcakes. working out. saying what was on my mind.

i wish i didn't buy as much random crap as i did. it was unnecessary for the most part. drink, even though i didn't do a lot of it, in retrospect.

i started really like the stuff my dad listened to when he was my age. i really got into older country and bluegrass.

my settlement check. a peace of mind about stuff. to live with jason.

I went to marina bay in quincy with melissa, jason, katie, and boy alex and kt from work showed up along with becca, brian hurley, jeff, dugan, etc.
i got shmammered and ate food i didn't really want at ihop. I had fun though.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
money, as awful as that sounds.

i still dress like i'm in 7th grade sometimes. but i'm starting to get that "trying hard to look like i'm not trying so hard" look down.

jason, real friends, change of scenery, moving out of fitchburg, pug dogs on the internet, putting things into perspective. realizing we'll all die at some point.
