Love/Hate relationship with the snow.

I love snow, I love the way it looks, the cold crisp clean air when it snows, the feeling of NEW when you walk out in the yard on new fallen snow.
But can we spread it out a little bit???!!!
I mean...our first snow and it snows for 3 days? come on now.

Since the exact same thing happened to my old car, it sounds like it's the alternator. :(

Car running w/ charged battery, then slowly electricals die before it does = dead alternator. Lack of being able to jump = possible bad battery due to bad alternator.

This according to experiences I have had w/ cars.
