Creepy Hotel and Other Things

Hell, what a night.

My "vacation" consists of being a travel buddy for my mother. We're in Biringham at the moment, because she has training to do at a education centre; we're going to be here two days. I've got fic work to complete, so I'm borrowing her notebook at the minute, and damn, this is a tiny little machine. The words are piddly here. :P

Wow, just wow. I was thinking The Shining and hoping you weren't going to poke your head out from under the blanket. That is very creepy indeed (heck, being the dork that I am, I'd probably go and investigate.) But seriously, it's given me goosebumps!

I'll be looking forward to your story this creepy experience inspired. :)

I did a little background research and the place is pretty much pegged for those kind of goings on. But ghost!invesitagations are so much fun, as long as there are flashlights and friends and a quick dash to the exit!

Yeesh, that's scary. I'm not a huge believer in ghosts and stuff either but every now and then something happens to change your mind. Old hotels often have info about their history around the place, maybe you could find something out about it.

We stayed at a hotel last year that my mum is sure is haunted. We took the dog and she was freaking out and shaking so bad we couldn't leave her alone in the room to go and eat. Later I was reading about the place and the original site is about 600 years old and used to have a tunnel to some old monastery in the area where the room was. Can't remember what else, but it was full of interesting history and ghost potential.

Your Icon = Me the last few nights.

I did a little digging, and volia. A maid got locked in a chest, something of that sort, and some other guests complained of shuffling feet and cold breath on their necks. The corriders were creepier though. There were actual compliants about the motion sensory lights. The effect they gave was the opposite of modern.

That sounds megaly eerie. Animals seem to be quite partial to that kind of thing. And old monasteries are powder kegs for that kind of potential.

O_O

That sounds bloody frightening as all hell. Poor little thing! That has to be so scary-I believe in the supernatural yet something like this has never happened to me!

AAAH! The fic sounds epic though. Those based on personal experience are usually pretty fantastic.

And I MISS YOU!
