I came across your journal from egl_comm_sales....I have done a lot of research into the dog food industry and was disgusted. in LA it's allowed to put euthanized animals in pet food! There's a few really really good food brands (they're a bit more expensive) but if you don't have time to make food from scratch they are good.
If you have any questions feel free to contact me : )

i can completely relate, my lea died at 6 because she had a weak windpipe and it collapsed so mnay times on occasion. it is absolutely heartbreaking and i felt it was partly my fault!! after that we changed our other dog's diet (on the vet's recomendation) to help avoid illness and i just hope that my leon benefits from it!! I always feel my heart drop when he cough or chokes on something ):

because they can only depend on us and we are their only world... That guilt is very traumatising! ;__;

i feel the same for my ju, i get very worried whenever she vomits or has a bad tummy.

and you! please be recovering well! *.*!

must really take care! Was the bump on your neck swollen with pus in it? It's really scary! and to be alone without your family!

HUGS!

I had a very upsetting year when 4 of my dogs died due to various health complication which can't be treated nor operated.

My current dog is diabetic.

The pain of seeing them suffer and even died in front of me made me feel helpless. Food plays an important part, not even when feeding them with top grade knibbles.

Glad to hear that BiBi is recovering well. :)

thanks for your comment, wawa! Really appreciate it!

yes... the helpless feeling, always make me tear. I just wish i could do more. Your dog is lucky to have a dedicated owner like you. i mean it. not everyone can do it.

i just saw bibi today, she is well and kissing me today, unusual for her actually, i'm sure she knew it herself she is too lucky to be alive.
