have been keeping an eye on the weather for your rainfall and just saw some pics of the servo and pub in town.
hope it dies down for you soon and that not too much permanent damage is done.

we have been enjoying a light to heavy drizzle on and off for the last 4 days, but warm and muggy.
we were hoping on a storm yesterday arvo but nothing...except the most beautiful sunset i have seen for a while.

im really liking this place :)

your NY's sounds cozy, we relaxed with mick and ali.

hoping to go camping over Oz day weekend at a local camping spot and explore some more.

hope all is well with you and urs
xx

Yes it's been a very eventful weekend (see lj post just done) .... not too much drama up here in the hills, the water soon drains away to become someone elses problem :)

Good to hear your settling in and enjoying the move ... look forward to a catch up.

BTW ... winter solstice 2008 Back to The Land Pt2 ...put it in your diary :)

Neighbours horse was found ... and alive too which is even better.

And winter solstice is at xmas only in the northern half of the planet .... so for our one we're refering to the 20th of June (or the next night which is a saturday and makes more sense) ..... so it will be bonfires, lots of clothes and extra extra thick blankets if anyones planning to camp out.
