Well, I'm done with the alli experiment and thought I would make my final thoughts public, in case someone is wondering about whether or not to try it

Well, congratulations on those five pounds however you did it! It makes sense that if you already know how to eat low-fat, maybe alli isn't worth much to ya. Take it as a sign that you're doing well!
Thanks, CJ! I do feel good about how I've done and how I look. I have toned arms for the first time EVER! Maybe one of my goals should be 10 pull-ups. We did that thing in school where you had to hold yourself up in a pull-up position and were timed to see how you did. I never could even HOLD that position for even a second. Don't know where I'd find a bar to test things out, though...
Pull-ups are hard for us chicks to get started with, but it TOTALLY IS possible to get to the point where you can do ten of them. Where I went to boot camp, outside the mess hall there were pull-up bars. It was taken as a sign of Super Extra Team Spirit for soldiers standing in line to run over to the pull-up bars and do their best while they waited. Few did. I figured why the hell not? I went from being unable to do one to being able to do maybe six of them in just a few weeks. What helped me the most was regular practice for short bursts of time, and second most was probably weighing 115 ;-). (My arms are TINY. Like the rest of me once was.)
I so want toned arms. Maybe I need to find a way to install a pull-up bar somewhere.
I *almost* bought a pull-up bar yesterday at Walmart, but got a stability ball instead. I didn't even know they SOLD pull-up bars at Walmart! Hell, they apparently don't sell bath brushes, so why would I think they'd sell pull-up bars?!?
Anyway, next time I go in, I'm getting that damn thing and installing it myself if I have to! :)
You're welcome! I'm happy to answer any questions. I really went back and forth about whether I wanted to try alli and couldn't find much information from people who HAD tried it.
