I used to have horrible mid-afternoon energy drops, but found that if I kept some high protein snacks like peanuts around to munch on, that helped a bit. What also helped was when I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and got on a CPAP machine (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure - means I have a tube blowing air up my nose all night so my airway won't close off and suffocate me.) The two most common symptoms of sleep apnea are daytime sleepiness and snoring, if you have either (and especially if you have both) it might be worth at least talking to a doctor about it. I kinda doubt that's it, but I figured I should at least toss it out there, just in case :)

How are you holding up, hon? I've been thinking about you!

Thanks -- I think the bigeing and carb-overdosing are what's doing it.

And thanks for thinking of me. I thought I would be ok picking up Lola's ashes, but I cried and cried. And yesterday I teared up over something -- it just seems SO UNFAIR that she had such a short life. I think that's what gets to me most -- she loved her life so much.

Oh, yeah, carbs will do it big time! Carbs are about the worst thing to eat midday because they will give you a serious crash a couple hours later. I learned that the hard way ( ... )
