The ides of March

Does anybody dislike the Month of March as much as I do? It's my least favorite month...the in-between time, the turbulent time between winter and spring when everything is struggling to come back to life but is just not quite there yet..I think that usually includes me and that's why March sucks the big one. The winds, the storms, the warm one day

usually the moning777777777777th of march, particularly as it is in upstate new york and even worse, on the coast of lake ontario, leaves me bitter and digging myself out of snow banks. however, this year it's been so mild that i've hardly been bothered at all. no shoveling, no freezing my ass off, no ice....as a child i heard "in like a lion, out like a lamb." it's as though the lion of march went vegan and is lounging rather than wreaking havoc.

i live in rochester. i've been grateful for the lack of snowstorms this year. knock on wood.
