LOL No. Movable Type is a form of Weblog that some use. I've been trying to get it to work but no luck!

Yep I know how to do marquees!

So many laps, so little time!

I do both those things, actually. My journal is embedded on my personal web page, and I use Movable Type for my blog. Eventually I may switch it all over to Movable Type since one of the features is auto-publishing over to LiveJournal.

But MT is NOT easy to set up!

No it is not. I spent most of yesterday working on it and got no where.

But I would embeded LJ into my website if I actually was willing to pay for it. :( I might break down and do frames though. I believe I can turn the scroll off and then use blogger.

So, with all this blog ranting of yours I have to get something strait... Your saying that you want a company (livejournal) that provides a free/pay service on their server, using their bandwith on your server. To be honest with you, you may as well ask all the vons cashiers to work for free.

But, on that note, you can actually find faqs on movable type. It is quite simple to use, even if you know little html.

A second way of doing is to build a frame site. You have your site in what looks like frames, why not go the extra 10 lines of code to actually build a frames enabled site? Then, you can steal their bandwith and server time all you want without paying.

That way, you get what you want, and keep within livejournal's rules.

ps: there are lots of free blogs out there, and if you are real adventurous, you can download the livejournal sourcecode and have your own livejournal.
