I understand about indecision
But I don’t care if I get behind
People livin’ in competition
All I want is to have my
I'm hoping to get some frustrations out through this thing, since not many people read it anymore...

Went to TKE's dayglow/foam party at Floyd's last night. That was crazy fun! I was covered in glow in the dark paint within five minutes...it was like out of a movie...everyone was sliding everywhere and pouring paint on each other, all the girls were nice! I found Neema and danced with him the entire night...he said I made his semester haha..the foam was ridiculous...it was over my head at one point..we came out all sticky and covered in pink goo but it was so fun! I think I'm starting to like Neema...the way he treated the pledges was so sweet! His 'little brother' was telling me how he was going to join the marching band but Neema convinced him to pledge the fraternity instead and how much he loved it...it's like that with everyone I talk to, they have the nicest things to say about Neema..no matter who it is, the dorkiest freshman pledge or the most well known senior brother, Neema treats them so sweetly. Regardless of what anyone says about TKE, they're really good guys. He said I could crash on his couch but I declined, said I didn't want to ruin things. (Past experience tells me 'crash on his couch' rarely entails crashing on a couch) Whether he calls or not I feel so much better knowing I acted appropriately. One of his brothers asked if I was his girlfriend (no); did I want to be? (well that's up to him); no that's up to you. He just isn't like every fraternity guy, maybe that's because their fraternity is unique in itself. From what I've seen so far he seems legit, but if not it was a fun night!

Claire's boyfriend left town this morning. He was such a nice guy! The way he looked at her, talked about her, cared about her, made me want a relationship even more. And it's so hard to find that in college! Most guys want to 'experiment'...well I don't want to experiment with promiscuity. Or STDS. Apparently a lot of girls here do. I was talking to this guy from New York the other night, and he was telling me you have to go into a club (or wherever) KNOWING you're the shit..KNOWING you're gorgeous and can get any guy you want. Knowing all this, you can go up to the best looking guy there and have him wrapped around your finger. If you're not confident, guys can tell and they're turned off. It's like they can smell low self esteem. He said he can tell everything he needs to know about a girl just by their body language. How she presents herself, how she talks to guys/girls, EVERYTHING. People are always watching. One thing I do respect about sorority girls is their composure. They always hold themselves with respect, they walk gracefully, ect. I don't want to come off as stuck up or bitchy as some of them do, but I like how reserved and refined they come off. It's like they're gorgeous and they know it, and they're not going to let anyone tell them otherwise. It's such confidence that I'm hoping to achieve here.

On a positive note, my boss called me today. Apparently he never fired me! I'm sorry, what part of "Don't come back" doesn't involve me being fired? Whatever. It's awesome that I didn't have to beg for that job, he called ME. I was really starting to regret not working their anymore, it's a chill place to work and I make great money. If I miss a few parties, so what? Life's all about give and take anyways. Plus I met a lot of people there! I did just get that girl Jessica from English a job there, so it's a waitress that's genuinly nice to me :)

I took my first math test today and scored 90 percent!! That should make up for the quizzes I failed, and if I score well on every quiz, test and homework from now on I should be able to pull an 'A'. That's a big sigh of relief. I'm hoping to do really well on my grades this semester, then I can break it to my parents that I've been working up here. That would let them know I DO make money up here for gas, and maybe they'll let me bring my car up..? They didn't sell it by the way!! Dad said he took it for a tune-up and he figured why sell it? I'll need a car for summer and breaks and stuff anyways..

Speaking of dad, my uncle bought him a Harley for his birthday! He's wanted one for so long and he's really happy now. My mom said she was buying leather pants, that's a rather scary thought! What happens when I leave..! My mom's working again (after three years!) and she seems really happy, so it seems like we're all getting our acts together!

Claire and I went to Walmart last night and bought a DVD player and some dvds! Finally! I'm building up my collection woo woo!

As my birthday approaches I'll start compiling a wish list of DVDs...:)
