Alcohol is a vile, filthy drink and it disgusts me.

When did "having fun" require drinking, even in moderation? We're showing our ignorance if we think this is a necessary part of celebrating.

So Christmas was depressing and I'm not getting a New Years either.

Perfect way to end the year.

It seems to me Christmas has become more about the presents and lights and food than the family. It's amazing how one person can be such a pivotal member of a family...without him it's like we've lost our spirit. We've lost our traditions, our comfort, our Christmas.

Hold on to the good times, for the memories are all that will remain.

While I was sleeping today, someone broke into my neighbor's house. The reason they didn't break into mine? My car was in the driveway. Yep. Not even a week before Christmas thieves are robbing houses. They stole computers, cameras, and every present from under their tree. They have a three year old daughter!
