For Photoshop Elements 2.0 - I've been struggling for months and finally found the answer. Am sure you will be relieved too.
I have been given instructions on how to do this and its so easy! - Open a copy of original picture - Select the Magnetic Lasso tool - Click around the area until u get back to where you began - Choose Copy from the Edit menu - Create a new blank layer and past the selection from the boquet. -Select the first layer (original picture) - Choose Enhance, Adust Colour, Hue and Saturation - Move the saturation slider all the way to the left then ok. - Switch to your bouquet layer - hide the main layer - Zoom in on object using the Magic Wand - select the colours like the skins that you want to get rid of and then delete. - Switch back to the original layer and Voila!

Hello!! I obviously didn't respond to this right away...I'm over a month late which is quite sad but I just wanted to say thank you and that it has been very useful! :)
Hey-- I saw your name on Sarah Dessen's journal, and was totally intrigued by your icon. I'm a bit of a Gilmore Girls fanatic, myself. Also, I was wondering-- where/how did you get your background? It's adorable.
