AAAAAND we're back.

So we all get to the school around 6:30 in the morning so that we can be in Eugene by 9 or whatever. We were all quite tired and decided that we wanted coffee, so we ran to the Seattle's Best and got coffee. Being the dipshit I am, I bought a grande triple shot americano - not a good thing right before a 3 hour car ride.

Anyway. So we get there and have the opening meeting and then Kali and I went off to Committee 3B, which is way the coolest committee there is!

So we are looking around the room for cute boys and we both see the kid who was representing China and were like, "OOO! Cute!" and he was wearing a pin so that was automatically cooler. And Kali, as Chile, ended up sitting right next to him. It turns out that the pin said, "I can't even think straight!" And we thought that was like the greatest thing ever. There were several sexy straight boys in our committee though, it turns out that they were all from Ashland: Armenia (aka PJ), Saudi Arabia (aka Saudi), and Iran (aka Galen). Kali and I decided that we are moving to Ashland to be with all the hot Ashland boys.

So Kali started having a conversation with Armenia who I was sitting next to. And they started having a "thing" and it was amusing. The first couple sessions, nothing really happened at all, we just kind of sat around and did what we were supposed to: abusing the pages and trying to pass resolutions.

The late night session though, became quite involved. I think it was that night that Saudi had to speak in rhyme, and he did. My favorite poem was the one about how the "children won't be on drugs, because they like making cheap rugs." And since the pages had to leave for the day, we elected Nepal and Iran to be the pages. That entire night, Kali flirted with Iran, Armenia, and Saudi. It was insane. That night, we ended up skipping the ice-cream feed and "partying" with the Ashland boys at an undisclosed location. Kali taught Galen some Swedish and he was pissed the next day that he didn't remember it. But Kali and I were like paranoid about Ms Gorman, so we left pretty early. PJ and Galen walked us back to the Rec Center, and Kali and PJ had some fun for about 5 seconds or so and Galen and I looked at eachother and laughed. Sadly it turns out that Galen has a girlfriend who was in our committee (Nepal) - it was very sad because he was so the hottest one.

So we went back to the hotel that night and slept.

The next day was even more amusing than the first. We decided that Qatar had to speak in rhyme, and that Mauritania had to speak through interpretive dance with Saudi doing the interpreting through song lyrics. It was wonderful. Also the committee chairs decided that they were going to read out some of the dirty notes that the pages were passing, and one happened to be about Kali and PJ. It was a conversation between PJ and someone else who asked him, "How are things going with Chile?" and he replied "Spicy." Good times. It was great fun. The second session on Friday happened with a bang as all the kids from Ashland dressed up in togas. Mauritania requested a moment of silence and it was granted and while everyone sat quietly, he got up on the desk in his toga and sat cross legged with his arms in the air and wouldn't get down for the longest time. My god the Ashland kids were funny.

That night was the dance and it was pretty boring, albeit revealing of last year. I'm sure that all of you remember me and Kali raving about the adorable foreign exchange student from Portugal. Turns out that he wasn't from Portugal at all, but from Mexico and he is a citizen here, but Kali stole his green card because she was pissed and we ran, but finally he caught up with us. It was funny for a while that he was fooled us for that long but then he was totally showing off his girlfriend and that totally pissed us off so we left him alone.

The Ashland boys were completely wasted, especially PJ and Saudi. PJ could barely walk and he wanted to find a dry bench outside except that it had been raining so there was no such thing. The dance was retarded as usual and we ended up leaving at 11.

Next morning was awkward and kind of boring and then we went home.

MUN this year was totally different from last year, and just as fun! Now I just have to wait another year to do it all over again, and sadly that will be my last. Oh well. It's still fun!

OOOO AND WE'RE MAKING T-SHIRTS!
