Misato was working on her little investigation into Kaworu Nagisa. He was alive, somewhere. That much was obvious. But how to find him? He was still a threat after all. And Asuka and that Minato kid both knew something, but neither of them were likely to particularly talkative, right? She sighed, covering her face in one hand before the knock sounded at the door. She blinked and stood, going over to open it.

"Ye--Asuka?!" She grabbed the girl by the shoulders and hauled her into the office before slamming the door shut.

"What are you doing here?"

Asuka yelped indignantly as she was yanked inside, rubbing ruefully at her arm as she glared up at the older woman, "I came here to talk, OK? Why am I even bothering with this?"

She leaned back against the door, arms folded across her chest.

Misato sighed, covered her face with her hand again.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital? Or are the Asuka from the community? This is all way too confusing."

"I'm from the community. If I was from this timeline, I'd still be comatose. Can't you figure out anything?"

Asuka snorted in annoyance and then waved a hand at Misato, "Look, just leave us alone, alright? Kaworu didn't do anything!"
