So yesterday I went on a drive with Todd to talk. I explained to him what I was feeling and thinking and I pretty much gave him a choice, either he can be with me and date me or I don't have room for him in my life. Which is sad because he is a good person... well most of the time. Here is my logic

it's true...by limiting the amount of trust you have in someone, you are less likely to be hurt, or at least, won't be hurt too much. i say, as much as you like the guy, still keep your options open for other people. he may end up just pulling through and growing up a bit to the point where he can show you that he cares enough to be in a relationship. however, until that time comes, keep him on the back burner and stay strong. you deserve someone who is ready for a relationship.
