Alright!...so the countdown has officially started to my "mini-vacation" or whatever u want to call it. An actual 4 day weekend off, of course it was requested months ago. Friday morning we will be headed to Tyler to do some well deserved shopping and then back to Athens in the evening to see the rodeo and CCR! Woot! Can't wait!

lucky you CCR... they throw a bad ass show I've only seen them half a dozen times last summer...

this place where i'm going in athens...i saw them there in march over spring break...no one really goes to i guess they don't know about it. but its nothing like when u see them here in fort worth or dallas. so much less people maybe just a few hundred MAX. nothing like when i went to lonestar park to see them and 27,000 people showed up! also they are alot more calm...like u don't see naked chicks everywhere lol.

maybe I've lucked out but all the places I've seen them have been small venues and they are really great shows... I've got them on my straw along with almost everyone else in texas country... they liked the story about how i got the barbed wire off the side of the road when i had been drinkin just a little to much...
