Laura still didn't know what to call her relationship with Billy. As the time passed she found herself more attached to him, and while they had incredible mind blowing sex, there were days they played video games, went out, did other things and he knew more about her than anyone. He was her best friend, and that right there confused the hell out

It was a strange feeling - all those years at the Academy, and finally, it was all over with a walk across the stage, receiving rank pins, commission papers and a handshake from the Academy Commandant.

As the ceremony wound down, Billy found himself thinking of Laura. She'd made the past few months memorable for him. And not just for the sex (though that had been nothing to complain about) - sometimes, there'd be days when they'd call each other up and end up just hanging out at her apartment, either watching movies, playing video games, or just talking.

He still couldn't quite figure out what their relationship was - friends with benefits, or something more? But with his graduation coming up, he hadn't questioned it. He'd be heading off for his first assignment, and she'd be starting at the Academy - very little chance of keeping in touch, so he'd better enjoy it while he could. Which he did

Laura grinned and moved to meet him halfway so that she could throw her arms around him. Hugging him tightly, she pressed her face against his neck briefly before pulling back just enough to look at him.

"You really think I'd miss this?" she asked with a small smile. The heels she'd paired with her dress brought her closer to eye level with him, and she pressed her forehead against his gently.

Billy practically beamed as she hugged him. "You came!" His arms circled her waist as they pressed tightly together. He'd barely even noticed his father yet, who was watching the pair curiously.

When Laura pulled back, he reached out to playfully tweak her nose - something that was made a little easier now she was closer to eye level. "You're a dirty cheater, Roslin."

Yea, I'm out the door to work :(

"Hey, I never said I played fair," she said with a grin before she kissed him softly.

"So, you're an official fly boy now. How do you feel?"

Laura didn't even know what his father looked like, so she was completely unaware.
