Uggghhh! About a month ago, I was walking into an elevator at work and the damn thing closed on me. I had to force the doors open with my left hand! Well the door squished my right wrist and I've been in a brace ever since. And yes, I'm right-handed of course

Ugh, I can't believe they didn't find this out before now! I hope it doesn't come down to surgery, though I'm not sure how else they'll fix it. =/

I think there was too much swelling when they took the first x-ray. Not sure. I do know that I do not want surgery either! =/

So sorry to hear that! Surgery will be a bummer but it has to be fixed. Just be thankful it isn't both wrists. A couple of years ago a friend of mine fell and braced herself with her arms and broke both wrists. Talk about uncomfortable in every way imaginable!

OMG!! That must have been awful for her. Ugh. Yeah, I really don't want surgery but if there isn't any other way, what can I do? *sigh* Stupid elevator.
