One of the companies I call frequently (and today was way frequent) has thier hold music piped in from a local radio station.

Today I got to hear:
Funky Cold Madina
Get your freak on.

There are more but those are the two that came to mind.

Can someone say way so not approriate.

I can't remember them, but I've heard of a lot of really bad combinations. A group of tech support workers were talking about it on Tuesday, and discovered that there seems to be a dig diconnect between those that program hold music and the job functions that put people on hold.

I think one of them was "Cry" on the hold line for Problem Reports.
