I use original characters in fanfiction all the time. Some fandoms are more open to it than others... depends on where you're posting it.

I've also thought that, as long as you're writing, you're still getting better at what you do and you keep your skills from getting rusty until you can apply it to your original stuff. At least, that's been my justification for continuing to write fic after high school, lol.

Either way, your writing is brilliant, and I know it would come out well.

Yes, but my phone keeps dying and i don't know why. I think either me or Jesse is leaving it off the charger too long between calls. Gurk grr grr.

oh yes. ususally not appreciated unless he story is well written.

the term is "OC", "origional character".

then you can also indicate sex, "OFC" or "OMC".

Use your own characters, 'cause it expands possibilties and thus more interesting. Write it!!
