2008 was an interesting year
but for better or worse
we bade it farewell
and welcomed a new year
a fresh set of chances
untold adventures
untapped potential
these unwritten moments
that we have yet to define

i'm rather excited

My fingertips are sore from literally hours of testing, wiggling, pulling, and replacing Christmas lights. Normally I am a patient person - when you teach children for a living, you have to be... at least to some extent. Today I drove with Kelson to Ohio for our annual lunch with his grandparents before leaving him to continue on to his hometown with them for a week of vacation, or "Grandma Camp," as some call it.
