And because I'm hanging around the house waiting to head off for this evenings entertainment, here's the list of books I've read this year... didn't make it to fifty this year, but I didn't let myself read much that wasn't related to my thesis!

Oh c'mon, you have to give us more than that! ;) What was your favorite, how many were re-reads, which was the biggest surprise, which one the worst disappointment? :)

(What did you think of Dance, Dance, Dance? I have it on the shelf but haven't ever pulled it down to read it...)

Alright then!! No re-reads, the biggest disappointment was Bones of the Moon, I've Jonathon Carroll's other books but this seemed so weak, for nightmarish dream world Night Mayor by Kim Newman is better. And probably The Ipcress File, I'd read so much about how it was a tense thriller, and I'm a sucker for James Bond novels, so I was expecting something along similar lines, but it just didn't seem to do much, it was pretty dull

Ah hah. I will not start Dance, dance, dance until I have read A Wild Sheep Chase. Good to know! I liked 10.5 Chapters too when I read it, but Madame Bovary I tried in high school and got nowhere fast. I suppose I should try it again now that my brain can handle a bit more subtlety in my literature. ;)

I have to post my listing as well... But I'm also being tempted by various posts reviewing the entire freakin' decade, and I really should think about that too. :)
