Why I hate AIM sometimes

I was just chanting with my friend josh on AIM when someone else tried to message me. I didn't have that person on my list and it poped up with the Accept or Decline. I was in mid-typing, and hit the space bar, and the pop up witht he accept, decline, and the name of whoever it was, went away
