Definitely not the only one. locatei August 11 2009, 17:08:12 UTC
The further I go into this whole gender thing, the more I realize I see myself as genderless, not really as a male. I just assumed that if I didn't feel female, then it obviously meant I was supposed to be male but that doesn't feel right either. Although sometimes I really want a more masculine body, mostly so I'd look more androgynous, although a beard would be awesome. Anyway, I relate. I am also somewhat pansexual, I've been attracted to all people on the spectrum, and outside of the spectrum... although I prefer more gender variant people just because there's a mutual understanding there to a point.

i'm glad!!! if that is you in your picture when i first look at you i just see "locatei" it doesn't enter into my mind to try to figure out which gender you are it's like my brain is broken or something people automatically jump to assign genders to everyone they meet i just look at them and accept them (it has caused awkward situations though when people became offended)

That is totally refreshing! It gets tiring sometimes how so much focus is placed on one's gender, I mean even I am guilty of it at times too... although more and more often now I am just using neutral pronouns for everyone until they tell me what they prefer, because really you just never know anymore.

p.s LOVE PIPPI! =D She was my IDOL as a child, and still is.

I absolutely identify with this. I see gender as a socially constructed set of ideals into which people are meant to fit, and I can't seem to make it apply to me at all- whether that be cisgender, transgender, or any other label that other people have come up with. I just don't identify with gender.

when it comes to pronouns do you guys have any preference or do you get offended i don't get offended i just gently correct people i dnt like being referred to as "she is" or "he is" i just prefer the use of my name it is imprecise and too-formal sounding but it's the best i've got as far as an androgynous pronoun (think about it even my name is androgynous 'amanda' is a female name but it is said "a man, duh!" hehehehe joxe joxe)

I prefer neutral pronouns aka they/their & ze/hir but it's hard sometimes, so I often just let it slide in general, but am encouraging my friends to start using neutral and/or just say my name as much as possible instead of pronouns. I don't really get offended, I just would like my friends to do that for me, as I don't think it's a lot to ask for.

i'm like that, maybe. i identify as female sexed and mootgendered. i don't really participate in gender presentation. things i do aren't some sort of proclaimation about gender, although i'm sure it comes into play somehow.

i'm glad i'm seen more of an individual than an asshole because i'm a woman not a man, though. white female privilege SUCKERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

I was that way when I was younger, but cultural expectations coaxed the binary right into me until I started seeing two of everything, even in a single thing.
