ROBERT PATTINSON MOST CERTAINLY DOES NOT ''DAZZLE''
I saw Twilight on Friday, along with half the nation.
Seriously. 7.6 million dollars on the FIRST NIGHT.
I guess this would be a good place to leave a good, critical review on the movie but... wow, its really hard to do that, seeing as how I read the book.
I guess that, for someone who never read the book, would most likely react to the Twilight movie as they would with the Twilight novel.
However, for anyone who's a fan of Twilight (or was at least somewhat entertained by it, like I was), would most likely enjoy its movie. I mean, its a pretty good adaptation... its not exactly the same as the novel, but it stays close enough to the storyline while still maintaining its originality. It doesn't have many flaws that don't coincide with the flaws of the novel.
My only real problem was with Kristen's expressions throughout the film. It never changed. It was either ">:l" or ">:O", and I was just like, "-_-".
And, uhm, what was with the metrosexual Asian? I don't remember a metrosexual Asian being in Twilight!
Well, there were still some funny parts in Twilight... Mike Newton's dance, for instance. And Alice was amazing on-screen too.
And as for the eye candy?
Mmm... Robert Pattinson. Screw Edward. I just came for Cedric Diggory. 8)
(In other words: Harry Potter > Twilight.)
And Taylor Lautner? Well, he looks hotter with short hair, but he played his part well in the movie. And he wasn't too bad to look at either. :DDDD (Though I will always remember him as Sharkboy... D:)
And, uhm, yeah. The "dazzling" part wasn't as cheesy as it should've been. Not that I'm complaining.
So all in all... if you like the book, watch the movie. You'll like it. If you don't like the book... well, you probably won't like the movie.
