I think you hit it on the head - when you graduate, the world is about to get a lot bigger, but it hasn't yet. If you were to be the same person now that you were on graduation day, I'd honestly say that there'd be something wrong. I'm a firm believer that you don't actually get to grow up until after you graduate.
it does happen in stages. there's a bit of a leap from high school to college. the absence of parents, and the presence of countless vices. i guess you can become mature and immature in college, but on different levels than high school.
i find myself scoffing at people who are out of college who haven't taken their lives into their own hands, and become responsible in some way for their fates. but what do i know? i'm almost seven months out of college, and unemployed (soon to be a dog walker? yeahh...)

there's a GCS in Virginia... "Government Contract Solutions" i saw it on a job website.
and what can i say? i have this tendency toward adorableness. when i'm not surly, that is.
