Any World of Warcraft Players in the House?

My boy Rob just got me hooked into this game. Anybody want to start a guild with us? C'mon, be a nerd.

Kelly, you should look into this game. It combines the fun of a first person shooter with the nerdiness of Dungeons and Dragons and the obsessiveness of The Sims. Seriously, this game has your name written all over it.

It's one of the few online multiplayer games that mac users can play, and it tempts me every day with its siren's song. But I must stay away from it. Or else. Having a gaming console is bad enough, but if I start doing this online stuff I'll be absolutely dead in the water and wake up ten years later with my dissertation still unwritten...

Try this one (requires Win Media but kinda worth it if you haven't installed yet)

This one is funny for a couple seconds, though it gets old fast:

Diablo2 just had a ladder reset, thereby muting my last MMORPGish urges. Maybe I'll have time when I too am a 3L.

Don't kid yourself. You'll have time as a 2L.

Maybe after interviewing dies down, but I think I've got more on my plate this year than last, unlike some.

Critics say there's so much law that students will learn most of it on the job, anyway. They see the third year as a revenue racket, a full-employment scheme for faculty that comes at the expense of non-elite school students and discourages them from taking public service jobs.

Yes. Totally yes. Third year should be, if required, a 1/2 externship ala Alexander fellows in the fall and then all bar stylee courses in the spring. But hey, why not.

And seriously, 2L is not that bad once you get into the groove. My 2L, every night I was home by 8pm (except when working in my note) and spent the rest of the night relaxing with my then-girlfriend. No more work at all.

Or I could be a dwarf with a grizzly bear buddy and a flintlock? Seriously? As a player? Woah.

What kinda folks are in your horde? :fingers crossed, hoping for undead:

Rob has a Warrior Orc and Rouge Gnome; I have a Paladin Human and a Shaman Tauren (anthropomorphic bull creature). The game is set up so that there's Horde (Orcs, Tauren, Undead and Trolls) and Alliance (Humans, Dwarves, Gnomes and Night Elves) and then each race can carry certain classes (e.g. Druid, Shaman, Paladin, Warrior). Our plan is to start a guild called "Order of the Coif" when we get a few more people hooked -- you need ten players to charter a guild.
