The database is not working properly so I have a little free time on my hands. Free time usually means that I start having these deep intellectual conversations with myself in search of truth and understanding of complex issues...I started thinking about wealth. It seems so simple, buy things that people are going to want in the future. Easier said ( Read more... )

you don't need to go to another country. fact of the matter is that the "great idea" is a license to print your own currency. the entrepreneur is always one step ahead of the staid and wealthy.

the key is to recognize what you've got and then find a way to act on it.

You're right. I've been trying to think of a ways to make money no matter what your starting point is, so that everyone can feel as though they are in control of their destiny. What's a good business if you only have $10? What's a good business if you have $10,000? etc.

That's the thing, no matter what the starting point is one's destiny is under their control, especially when starting their own business.

I don't think there is a noticable difference between my friends and I spending a few dollars when we were younger to buy car washing supplies and saving money and applying for small business loans and grants as an adult. It's finding the crossing point between what you are personally good at doing so that others would be interested in your services and what services you feel they are lacking.

More than anything it is the ability for one to act on these concepts that having the tools in which to do so. While the goal of the dreams could be generically similar, it's how you get there which will separate people from potential successes.
