There was a derailment at Rosslyn, where I get on the Metro in the evening, but it appears to have happened well after I was out of the way. I'm just posting this because my mom just called to make sure I'm okay.

Yeah, just figured I'd say something. There was a nasty accident on the Red Line a few years ago, and I was offline and unawares until the next morning. Meanwhile I had all these peeps online losing their shit because they were hearing from everyone in the area except for me.

Better to get the word out, even if there's nothing real to say, than let people lose their shit unexpectedly.
