Technocracy AU
Drabble, 380 words
Characters: Niou, his mom, secret cha-- oh who the fuck am I kidding, it's obviously Yagyuu anyway >>; Guess who's with Yagyuu though!
Also, the Technocracy AU is a set of drabbles/fic/lame writing/whichever for the Prince of Tennis Fandom. Totally not my characters. And the setting isn't mine, either. :(

"I have no idea what you're talking about," Niou Masaharu said, staring up blankly at the man in the crisp, black suit. "I don't even know who you are. I haven't even seen you at school!" Whoever this man was, he was impersonating some staff member at his high school.
"Now, now, Niou-kun," the man said, pushing his eyeglasses up the bridge of his nose. "That's not a very nice thing to say. We see each other at school all the time." He looked apologetically at Niou's mother. "I'm very sorry about this, but this is what I've been telling you about, ma'am. Although, I'm afraid that his behavior is worse at school."
"Oh come on, that's a load of bull!"
"Masaharu, language!" Niou's mother looked at him. The look on her face was a mix of emotions. Confusion. Worry. Fear.
"He doesn't even work at Rikkai! This is some sort of weird scam, and you let strangers in the house! You've been watching too much of your damn lunchtime dramas, and just because he looks like he knows what he's talking about, you let them in! You're such an idiot, mom!" Niou stood up from his seat, turned his heel and marched up to his room. He slammed the door, making the framed pictures on the wall shake.
Niou could hear the man with the glasses talk to his mother. She sounded so pathetic, apologizing for his behavior. And that man and whoever was with him? He'd never seen him before in his life. Niou did not forget a face. Especially not someone from a place he went to almost every day of the week. Niou watched from his window as the man with the eyeglasses and the big, silent man walked out of the house and into the black car that was parked across the street. The man with glasses looked up at his room, and Niou was sure-- very sure-- that he could see him through the half-closed blinds, and smiled at Niou. He watched until the car drove off and disappeared into his view.
"There's nothing wrong with me, damnit," Niou hissed. Except, he knew exactly what the man wanted from him.
The next time the man with the eyeglasses and the big silent man visited the Niou residence, Niou Masaharu was gone.
