"Whoohoooooo!" Hiyoshi yelled as he leapt through the air. He was thoroughly enjoying this.
"Geeeeeeronimoooooooooooooo!" was Kirihara's as he followed Hiyoshi shortly. He landed on the rooftop of the next building and kept running to the other edge and cackled loudly as he jumped over to the next building. Who knew that jumping from rooftop to rooftop was more fun than a knife fight on the roof of a moving train?
"Don't leave me!" Yuuta cried from the other building. He was a little afraid of heights, and no matter how easy it looked, he still had the jitters. "Keep up or they'll catch you," Niou said, patting Yuuta on the shoulder. And then he grinned and jumped to the next building, leaving Yuuta behind.
"Aah, mou, I said don't leave me," Yuuta whined. He took several steps back and took a running leap to the next building. Stumbling as he landed, Yuuta dropped to his knees with the knowledge that everyone else would be several buildings away by this time. "Yuuta! Yuuta, keep going!" He heard Hiyoshi shout. It was probably telepathy, or one of those enhanced voice-things Kirihara likes to do, because any normal person wouldn't be able to hear a shout from that far away, several stories up, and with that weird humming noise in the background. "Yuuta, faster!" This time it was Kirihara, and he noted the urgency in his voice.
Yuuta soon realized that the weird humming noise wasn't a weird humming noise after all. He turned around and muttered a curse as he spotted a large helicopter, with it's side door opened, and the Man in Glasses hanging out, gun pointed straight at him. Not wasting a breath, Yuuta started running to the other edge of the building and jumped to the next, forgetting about his fear of heights and trying to catch up with his friends. Three bullets missed him by a hair's breadth as he jumped to the next rooftop.
Halfway to Hiyoshi and Kirihara, thunder began rumbling overhead. Yuuta found it odd, there had been no thunderstorms forecasted that evening. But then he saw Niou in the distance, with his tattooed arm raised. That explained everything. "Go! I'll catch up," Niou said when Yuuta passed him by. "We'll meet you there," Yuuta nodded and kept hopping from one rooftop to the other. There was more thunder, this time with lightning, when Yuuta finally caught up to Hiyoshi and Kirihara.
"Don't worry," Kirihara said without looking back to where Niou was, unlike Yuuta. "He'll be fine."
