Woke up knowing we had to leave today. Sad. We had bagels and leftovers for breakfast, and started to clean up. We signed the guestbook, and made sure everything was ok, and left. We had decided last minute that we wanted to canoe and have a picnic on the river, so I hadn't planned ahead for that. We arrived on Thursday in Oakland, picked up Lien in san francisco, and drove north. We found our cabin in Forestville after a little searching, and settled in. It was the cutest thing! Wow. I just found out that my old company that I left three months ago has gone under. I knew it was coming, we all did, but I didn't quite expect it to happen that fast. That's crazy. I guess I left at the right time, except that I guess I could have gotten unemployment, I suppose. That would have been nice.
