ok. haha. i feel like this is more josh's story than mine, so i'll just give you the simple version: we were in the mall & there was a group of three girls, one of which josh kept seeing in various stores & who he kept making eye contact with. so we end up in the food court & as we sit down with our chinese food the girls sit down simultaneously on the other side of the plaza. i'm telling josh he should just go over & sit down & talk to her (which is rare for either of us to do [actually ive never done anything like this as of yet]). then suddenly, he gets this strange look in his eye and he's just like "ok, i'm gonna do it" & he gets up as my jaw drops. as he's walking over there he almost runs into someone carrying food to a table & had to pause, which would be a freezing moment which many would turn around. but he walked over there & started talking to them. after a few minutes he motioned me over. we hung out with them for a while & then went to see "scary movie 2". afterwards, we sat curbside in an empty parking lot & talked to ( ... )

Travis left out something very important. these girls were exchange students, all from chilli. One spoke good english and she talked for the gilr i liked. the girl i liked spoke a little english but she was the lest developed of the 3. Also after the movie i went on a few dates with this girl, met her family, but this was shortly b4 i left for pitt, so nothing came of it because of that. It was funny tho when i sat down to talk to them i looked at the one girl and said hi, then her sister looked at me and started talking, it took me a minute to realise.

also, i think his actions that night were at least partially inspired by the movie "dead poets society." we had been talking about it alot at the time.
