Over the past week or so I’ve been mysteriously drawn to a small pond near my house. The frogs chirping there are so loud that you can hold your hands against your ears and it’s still a little bit painful. Josh and I went there Friday night to tape the noise on our voice recorders. This is a great post; it really got to me. How lucky you are to have a place near your house like that. I hope someday I will too.

What is Blackwater Falls, and can I come too?

Yes, I would love nothing more than for you to come with me (if I ever summoned the power to run away). It's a park in WV, and I've never actually been there. I just like the idea of it. haha.

however, ive been to black waterfalls and its freaking beautiful, there are all these water falls everywhere and a lot of cool vegitation that your not aloud to touch, plus there are areas that are just like moss covered and ponds, plants that prick and suck your blood,other plants that can kill you, rare plants, rare beauty - its great.
