I'd also like to add apathy and moral relativism.

Oh yeah, and horrible grammar which I directly blame the internet for. I used to hate lol, but I admit that I use it now. These things drive me insane.

Would of, should of (instead of would HAVE)
r - are
u - you

Not to mention a general lack of capitalized letters, or any attention to grammar at all. Darnit I use proper grammar in text messages, emails and AIM conversations.

Also, MEET THE FOCKERS. Why do people like it? WHY?

About anti-intellectualism. I forgot this until just now, but there was this guy (conservative Miller Light drinker) at work who derailed any conversation that involved knowledge. A conversation about Mormonism came up. I started describing how the Mormon church had a heirarchy like the Catholic church that was very much it's own internal government. He actually got mad that I knew it. The fact that the knowledge was in my brain angered him. It was like that every break. Anything that was talked about was derailed by him. If you showed knowledge he mocked you for it. It was so irritating.

One day a couple of us were going to go to the midnight showing of Xmen 3 after work, we got off at 11pm. He asked "How old are you?" I said "24", and he said "You're going to see a superhero movie and you're 24 years old?" He couldn't believe that an adult was seeing Xmen. So I asked him what movies he likes to watch. "Chris Farley movies". That's right, Xmen was too juvenile, but Chris Farley movies weren't. It wasn't worth it, so I dropped it.
