Peace is irrelevant, conflict defines us. Words mean nothing when action doesn't back them. Happiness is not futile, and can be found in the simplest things. I've just taken my simple things and complicated them, is all.

And since I seem to be more elequent in metaphor:
Lead was a popular choice, medievally speaking, for table ware, as it was malleable, yet sturdy, and could be shined quite attractively.
But lo! Users of attractive lead products got sick and died.
I think this turned into a point more about retrospect, investigation, and experience.
But the simple answer is there is no simple answer.
