What' Pottermore?

It's the website JKR is opening in October as a platform to share more information from the HP world. She wrote thousands more words that help define the verse and the people in it. (I'm thinking it's what she's doing instead of writing a print book Encyclopedia.) There will be fun things, you can get sorted, make potions, etc. It's also going to be where she releases the book in legal e-book format for the first time. There was a contest last month where 1 million people would win to get early access to the site. I "found the quill" and I'm one of those million people that should have early access. I'm still waiting to be let in though because they are letting people in slowly.
